The Tricity — Gdansk, Gdynia, and Sopot — forms the pearl of the Baltic Sea and offers a distinct coastal perspective on Poland. Gdansk’s historic center reflects centuries of maritime trade and prosperity, with beautifully restored facades and cobblestone streets. The city played a pivotal role in modern European history, and the European Solidarity Centre documents the movement that reshaped the continent. Westerplatte marks the outbreak of World War II.

In Gdynia, the Emigration Museum tells the story of millions who left Poland for America and beyond, offering powerful context for heritage travelers. Sopot provides elegant seaside charm, sandy beaches, and Poland’s longest wooden pier. Visitors can admire dramatic cliffs in Orłowo, enjoy fresh Baltic seafood, and experience coastal landscapes very different from southern Poland. We organize private guided tours throughout the region, and several of our itineraries begin or conclude along this northern coastline.
